Himalayan Mountaineering Expedition is a magnificent offering of a Ski Mountaineering (Skimo) mission to Ramdung Go Peak (5,925m), which is in the spectacular Rolwaling Valley in Nepal. The trip will be aimed at the enthusiastic and seasoned skiers, who are seeking to enjoy the thrill of alpine skiing and the challenge of mountaineering on a high level.
It is a great ski mountaineering destination in Nepal, with breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, high mountains and pristine glaciers, which surround Ramdung Go Peak. The participants will not only have to climb a gorgeous Himalayan peak but they will also have an opportunity to experience extreme ski fall over a snowy surface and glaciers.
Rolwaling Valley is among the scenic mountain areas that are highly remote in Nepal. Often overshadowed by the famous Everest Expedition routes, this valley provides a quieter and more authentic Himalayan experience.
Trekking and skiers will cross through old Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries and superb alpine landscapes on the journey. The valley is located between the Everest and Tibetan frontiers, and the valley has amazing panoramic scenery of magnificent Himalayan mountains.
Rolwaling is completely untouched and serene unlike the busy trails in Everest, and this makes it the ideal destination of adventure seekers who desire to have a pure wilderness adventure.
This is a technically oriented climbing expedition with a glacier journey and high altitude snowskiing. The path to the summit of Ramdung Go includes slow acclimatisation, crossings of glaciers as well as snow climbs that will equip the members to the ultimate push to the peak.
Once on the summit, climbers are rewarded with spectacular views of Himalayan giants including peaks from the Everest Expedition region, as well as the stunning Rolwaling range. The ski slopes and oceanic snowfields provide breathtaking ski tracks down the mountain, and the experience in the alpine park is difficult to forget.
Every Himalayan Mountaineering Expedition is based on safety and expertise. Hyper experienced mountain guides, Sherpa climbers, and ski mountaineering professionals are part of our group and are full of Himalayan expeditions experience.
On the initial day of trekking up the mountain to the last day of descent, our guides will make sure that we are acclimated properly, the routes are planned and the technical assistance is provided. Going through glaciers or dealing with high-altitude conditions, the team is determined to offer successful and safe expedition.
For climbers and skiers planning bigger Himalayan goals, such as an Everest Expedition or other 8,000-meter peaks, Ramdung Go Peak serves as an excellent training and preparation climb.

Itinerary
Day 01:
Arrival in Kathmandu and meet with our representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing about Ramdung Go Ski Expedition.
Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meter
Day 02:
Drive to Chetchet for 5 hours and hike to Simi gaun 1.5 hours
Overnight in Lodge – 2000 meters
Day 03:
Trek to Dongang which will take around 5 hours.
Overnight in Lodge – 2790 meters
Day 04:
Trek to Beding for another 4 hours.
Overnight in Lodge – 3690 meters
Day 05:
Trek to Naa Village which will be our last lodge accommodation and last village as well.
Overnight in Lodge - 4200 meters
Day 06:
Acclimatize in Na and visit Tshrolpa Lake which is the biggest glacier lake in the world situated at 4580 meters and back to Naa village.
Overnight in Lodge – 4200 meters
Day 7:
Trek to Ramdung high camp which will take around 6 hours for us to reach there.
Overnight in Tent - 5650 meters
Day 08-09:
We can summit and ski back in 3-4 hours but 2 days are kept here for exploration of the mountain, touring, bad weather or can be done in 1 day.
Overnight in Tent – 5650 meters
Day 10:
Trek back to Beding village.
Overnight in Lodge – 3690 meters
Day 11:
Trek to Simi Gaun
Overnight in Lodge - 2000 meters
Day 12:
Trek down to chetchet and drive to Kathmandu
Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meters
Day 13:
Rest day and Exploration of Kathmandu city.
