Overview
Three Peaks Expedition in Everest area is among the most adventurous mountaineering activities in Nepal. This expedition is a blend of trekking and climbing as the participants will be able to hike up to three breathtaking peaks of the Himalayan range Mera peak (6476m), Island peak (6165m), and Lobuche East Peak (6119m) besides making a visit to the mythical Everest base camp.
This expedition is ideal for climbers and adventure lovers who want to experience a real Everest expedition environment without attempting the summit of Mount Everest itself. It provides spectacular mountain views of the Himalayas, exciting climbing experiences and a chance to discover the culture and tradition of the Sherpa communities in the Everest area.
The tour starts at Kathmandu, the lively capital city of Nepal. Then climbers fly scenically to Lukla where the Everest region begins. The expedition further proceeds to the remote mountain villages, glaciers, and high valleys and finally to the three climbing peaks.
The Three Peaks Expedition is an exclusive climbing adventure and is created to be taken by climbers who wish to have several peaks in the Himalayas under one adventure. It combines trekking, high-altitude climbing, and the unforgettable experience of reaching Everest Base Camp, the starting point of many major Everest expedition attempts.
In this expedition, the climbers will reach the summit of three well-known trekking peaks:
Mera peak is the track peak in Nepal. The climb is relatively easy and needs the individual to be physically fit because it is a high-altitude climb. Five of the largest mountains in the world can be seen by the climbers, who are Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga.
Imja Tse, or Island Peak is one of the most popular climbing peeks in the Everest region. It provides a thrilling climbing trip where there is a glacier travel and fixed ropes. The summit provides incredible views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Mount Everest, making it a highlight of any Everest expedition style adventure.
The Lobuche East is a technical peak which presents a more difficult climb. It is near the Khumbu helper and the Everest Base Camp. The climb requires the use of climbing equipment and basic mountaineering skills, making it perfect for climbers who want to gain experience similar to a real Everest expedition.
The trip to the Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) is one of the most thrilling elements of this trip. This legendary location is where climbers from around the world prepare for their Everest expedition to summit the world's highest mountain.
Being on the Everest Base Camp enables the trekkers and climbers to experience the environment of significant mountaineering endeavors. You will witness colorful tent and climbers planning to have their attempts of summit and the huge Khumbu Icefall that is close by.
There are a number of benefits which come with climbing three peaks in the Himalayas in one expedition.
Here you can have the chance to enjoy three beautiful mountains of Himalaya as you summit all these mountains instead of only one mountain as you do in this expedition and that makes your mountaineering experience very rich.
Although it is not the Mount Everest summit climb, the journey follows many routes used during a typical Everest expedition, including trekking to Everest Base Camp and traveling through the Khumbu region.
During the expedition, the climbers get panoramic view of some of the highest mountains in the world such as:
The expedition goes through old Sherpa towns like Namche Bazaar, Tengboche and Dingboche where the traveler is able to sample local culture, monasteries and Himalayan hospitality.
Selecting an appropriate company to go on an expedition is vital to the safety and success of the expedition in the Himalayas. Himalayan Mountaineering Expedition aims at delivering an enjoyable, well-organized, and safe climbing experience.
In our expedition program, the schedule will be to travel slowly across the mountains. This enables the climbers to be well acclimatized and chances of developing altitude sickness are minimized thus making it more likely to achieve success in all three of the peaks.
Our team includes professional Sherpa climbing guides who have extensive experience in the Everest region and have supported many Everest expedition teams.
Our safety is important as we supply an adequate climbing gear, experienced guides, and other support personnel during the expedition. Our group will make sure that climbers are trained to do glacier travel, rope climbing, and high-altitude environment.
Since airport pickup in Kathmandu, flights, permits, accommodation and expedition support, all the details are well arranged so that the climbers can concentrate on the adventure.
The Three Peaks Everest Expedition is suitable for:
The participants are required to be physically fit and have basic experience in trekking. The experience in climbing is not obligatory, though it comes in handy.
The 3 Peaks Expedition to the Everest Base Camp is not merely an excursion of climbing. It is a Himalayan all-inclusive adventure that can comprise of trekking, mountaineering, culture and stunning scenery.
For those who dream of experiencing the Himalayas and getting close to the world of Everest expeditions, this journey offers the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and create unforgettable memories in the heart of the Everest region.
